Early transaction activity shows accelerating purchase volume, strong repeat use and broad participation across routine spending categories

Orlando, Fla. – September 16, 2026  – Organizations have traditionally depended on revenue generated through products, services, dues, renewals and other transactions they directly control. New data from Shopr Rewards® (“Shopr”) suggests a broader opportunity is emerging: connecting organizations to the everyday consumer spending already taking place beyond their own businesses.

Shopr Rewards, a fintech infrastructure platform serving organizations through a B2B2C model, is seeing growing transaction activity since its March rollout, with an average qualifying purchase value of $55.93. The activity is overwhelmingly tied to routine consumer behavior, with 96% of transactions occurring across restaurants, retail, grocery and other everyday-purchase categories.

The data points to a potentially significant enterprise opportunity. Instead of limiting monetization to the moments when a customer or member buys directly from an organization, embedded commerce infrastructure can connect that organization to spending occurring throughout a consumer’s daily life.

For membership organizations, associations, employers, affinity groups, financial institutions and other enterprises, that can expand the economic relationship with an audience without requiring the organization to introduce another core product or service.

“Most organizations only participate economically when someone buys from them, renews, enrolls or completes another direct transaction,” said Sharon Mattimoe, COO of Shopr Rewards. “But their audiences are spending every day across hundreds of other businesses. Shopr creates infrastructure that allows an organization to deliver financial value around that existing behavior while opening a new commercial opportunity beyond its traditional revenue model.”

Shopr’s early transaction patterns indicate that the behavior is not limited to one-time experimentation.

52.8% of purchasing members have completed at least two transactions, while 35.8% have completed three or more. Nearly 47% have made multiple purchases within the same calendar month, and among repeat purchasers, the median period between the first and second transaction is only three days.

Adoption also happens quickly. 87.3% of purchasing members completed their first transaction within 30 days of account creation, including 67.9% who transacted within their first seven days.

That combination of early adoption and repeat purchasing is particularly relevant to organizations whose primary customer or member interactions may occur only several times a year. A membership may renew annually. An association may generate revenue around dues or events. An employer may offer benefits without participating in an employee’s everyday purchasing activity.

Shopr’s model introduces a way to create more frequent economic interactions around activity that is already occurring.

The transaction mix reinforces that premise. Restaurants, coffee and food delivery account for 45% of Shopr Rewards transactions, followed by retail and everyday shopping at 26.5%, grocery at 12.5%, and other routine categories — including pharmacy, pet, transportation and automotive spending — at 12%. Entertainment and travel represent the remaining 4%.

Members are also using the platform across multiple merchants rather than concentrating activity with a single brand. 44.8% of purchasing members have transacted with more than one merchant, and 25.3% have purchased from at least three different merchants. Shopr Rewards activity has now occurred across 167 brands and all 50 states.

The volume of activity is increasing as well.

From March through July 2026, monthly transaction volume increased 249.1%, while monthly qualifying purchase volume increased 385.7%. The number of monthly purchasing members grew 178.3% during the same period. From June to July alone, qualifying purchase volume increased 47.4%.

Those figures do not represent partner revenue and Shopr is not disclosing a partner-revenue figure at this time. They do, however, demonstrate a growing pool of commerce taking place through an organization-enabled platform — the underlying activity from which incremental enterprise revenue opportunities can be created.

The distinction is central to Shopr’s enterprise strategy.

Traditional loyalty programs typically seek to encourage additional purchases within a brand’s existing ecosystem. Shopr is designed to extend beyond that boundary by giving organizations access to a broader network of consumer commerce while simultaneously providing members, customers or employees with instant cash back.

The platform does not require organizations to operate a merchant marketplace or replace an existing loyalty, membership or benefits program. Shopr provides the underlying fintech infrastructure and access to more than 325 leading retail, restaurant, travel, entertainment and recreation brands, allowing partners to add the capability within an existing audience relationship.

As organizations seek new ways to grow revenue without relying exclusively on higher prices, additional fees or more frequent direct purchases, Shopr sees everyday consumer spending as an increasingly relevant source of untapped economic activity.

The premise is straightforward: an organization may only sell to a customer occasionally, but that customer participates in commerce every day.

Connecting those two realities could create a new category of enterprise value.
